It complies with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia Monograph for “Sterile Catgut” and the United States Pharmacopoeia for “Absorbable Surgical Suture”.
It is indicated in surgical procedures where a combination of an absorbable suture and short term wound support is required for wound closure, soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
